New T42p: How best to test screen for pixel health?

#1 Post by entech » Mon Aug 23, 2004 5:22 pm

Just received my new T42p. What is the best procedure for testing my screen to make sure it is healthy and optimal?

Thanks.

Cheers,
Bryan

What I did was to ensure a three-year warranty for my ThinkPad (in the event of issues down the road). Then I looked at my screen. It looks satisfactory to me (there are no dead pixels) and the rest is warranty if and when need be. ... JDHurst

Download a free utility like http://www.dps.uk.com/freeware_DTP.htm and look for dead/stuck pixels.

Thanks for that link - that's the easiest dead pixil tester I've seen.
