T42p clock changing itself

#1 Post by skitty4gzus » Mon Oct 02, 2006 7:23 pm

why does the clock decide to go back 3 hours by itself. The minutes are always correct, but it randomly goes back 3 hours for no apparent reason to me? What gives? Im sure its something silly but unfamiliar to me anyways. Thanks in advance.

Double-click on the time in the lower right-hand corner of the Notification area. Check the Time Zone tab. Are you set to the correct time zone? Check the Internet Time tab. Is the box checked to Automatically syncronize with an Internet time server? My guess is that your time is being "corrected" while on the internet. The problem is that it is being "corrected" to the wrong time zone.
