How to uninstall startup software?

#1 Post by gpvillamil » Tue Aug 24, 2004 7:53 am

I have an IBM T41p and I want to remove the IBM Access Message Center, and the Norton Anti-Virus software.

What is best way to do this? There doesn't seem to be an obvious uninstall option anywhere.

Also - is there a way to get to Access Connections directly, without pressing the blue Acdess button and following the menus?

Go into control panel and click on "add/remove software". Norton is listed there and I think the other startup junkware is in there also. Click on "remove". FWIW, IBM is not as bad as compaq/HP for startup junkware!!!
