External charger for t43 battery.

#1 Post by rabbarba » Fri Oct 06, 2006 2:32 am

Hi, my laptop doesn't work because i accidently plugged in a 19v adapter. I got the original and all, but it doesnt charge. The laptop works on battery, but it's dead now. My sticker under the laptop is gone since i lent it to a friend.
I have to enter bios and get hold of the serial no. cause im going to use the warranty.
So, is there a way to charge the battery without the computer ? Do i have to buy some charger for a hell lot of money ? Is there some place you can borrow one from?
Thanks in advance..

Perhaps you can use a friend's Thinkpad as the charging platform for your battery.
Good luck!

Tip. Use the URL button when pasting long URL's in the post.

Highlight the entire URL, then click on the URL button. To replace a URL being displayed with text, you have to remove the second bracket just after [url, and replace with an = sign. Next add a bracket to the end of the URL (i.e. .com]). Now insert your desired text between the added bracket and the [/url] at the end.

Completed example: [url=http://www.your_long_url_here.com]Your desired text placed here.[/url]

I disabled BBCode in this post so that you could see. You can also hover the mouse over the URL button to see the format you should use.
