Fingerprint login

I just uploaded some "upgrades" from the Lenova site; now I can't get the fingerprint software to work. It seems to have deleted the passport software. Any ideas on how to get this running again? Please assume I am a complete git and don't speek geek.

Welcome to the Thinkpad Forum :)

Did you take a look through the software installer and see what marked as "uninstalled" or missing? You can try uninstalling those latest updates and then reinstalling the passport software manually from the IBM/Lenovo Support site.

Just a check, you are sure that it is set to ask for a fingerprint swipe at login, right? ;) :)
