My T43p has no recovery cds,
Is there any chances that I could ask lenovo to make one copy for me?

Is the Pre-desktop area partition intact? If so, you could make them instead of waiting for IBM/Lenovo to ship them.

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.

Go to Start > All Programs > ThinkVantage > Create Recovery Media > Product Recovery. Or another place to look is Start > All Programs > Access IBM > Create Recovery Discs. It depends upon which version of Rescue and Recovery you have on where the Product Recovery Disc creation program is.
