T43: PF Usage is always on, and lap freezes in like 2 secs

Hi there..
Well it got my T43 for about 2 weeks ago (used), and I havent been very satisfied.

PF Usage:
When Im going into "Task Manager" the PF usage is "on", even when idling, and there's still 250mb Physical memory left. How can this be? The PF usage is 289mb when idling, and about 700mb when Im running a game (unreal T. 04). There's only 512mb memory in the lap right now, but Im thinking about an upgrade.

lap freezes
Sometimes (several times a day) when Im opening a folder etc, the lap freezes for about 2 sec, even though it aint loading. I dont how to explain this better.

Any of you guys know how to fix any of these problems?

my PF file is at 458 MB... I wouldn't worry about it. I've got a gig of ram loaded into this thing.

As for your freezing, the only way I get that is by tripping the hard drive protection... keep an eye on your HDAPS icon near the clock. See if the freezing and the pause signal coincide.
