I just bought a refurbished t41p. I know IBM keyboards are supposed to be excellent, but for some reason, my keyboard seemed to require me to press harder than I would have liked and was nothing extraordinary. Has there been any noted t41p keyboard problems where some keyboards are good and some bad, or were they all the same? (I know t42p keyboards differed depending upon manufacturer location, but is this the same for the t41p?)
Thanks.

Re: Thinkpad Keyboard
Yes, T40/41's keyboards are also made in two different places. I have two keyboards for my T40, and the first that originally came with it was much better. Just call IBM and tell them that you are not satisfied with the keyboard, and they will send you a new one.
