Hi Guys,

Ive not posted a problem on here for a while so i thought id get back in to full swing again, dont want you lot getting bored

Ive been getting a very irritating problem just lately, mainly when i first switch the machine on, if i type an website in to IE for example, after ive finished typing and look up, it isnt keeping up with my typing. it will slowly and i mean slowly catch up and then after that eveything is fine again.

Anybody got any ideas?

Maybe Windows or a program is downloading/installing updates on startup?
I sometimes have the same thing on my desktop cpu use runs up to 100%; after the updates everything is OK again.

When you first boot up and your computer is sluggish, press CTRL + ALT + DEL and click on the Processes tab. See what is consuming your CPU power. Ignore System Idle Process.
