New thinkpad owner!

Hi everyone, I've been lurking around these boards to try to figure out which laptop to buy having heard that thinkpads were the best. I checked through my college and found out that they have amazing discounts on thinkpads. I ordered it and it came in a week! Came back, plugged it in and typing on it now. It's a t42p 2373-GVU. I love it, amazing power for the size and weight. Will be looking into installing linux on it now and getting to know my new friend better. Just wanted to let you know that you guys influenced my choice and I say thanks because it was the right one!
