T42 screen flicker/blackouts?

Hi there,

Got my T42 2373-3UU. Overall, I love it. However, I am currently having an issue with it. This is the second time this situation has occurred.

The problem is that the screen flickers/blacks out for a split second while I'm typing, which sometimes makes for constant flickering when I'm typing out a sentence such as this one (yes, it's flickering right now). It's not just because of impact to the keyboard, since the screen also flickers when i gently tap the top of the screen bezel. There's different degrees of "sensitivity", because it seems that sometimes the screen will flicker with every keystroke, and sometimes it'll only flicker when i tap the notebook with moderate pressure.

What do you guys think this could be caused by, maybe a shortage in the connection between the LCD and the computer.

Forgot to mention. The flickering happens whether or not the HD Active Protection System is running.

Update your video drivers.

I had a problem with flickering/blanking when resuming from suspend, or playing video. The update dixed it.
