I will no longer use Software Installer as a monthly ritual to keep my T40 up-to-date.

Please warn every Thinkpad owner that you know .... I am not a happy camper ... restoring from a 10-day old image will be time consuming for me .... what will it be like for the 95% of laptop owners that don't ever backup anything ?
