Hi all,
I'm thinking of upgrading to a T60, but wanted to poll you guys on what you think my T43 is worth. If the gap is not too large, I'd really love to upgrade.
My T43 is T43 model #1871-4AU, 1GB RAM, 40 GB HD, CD-RW/DVD.
Still has most of 3 year warranty life left.
It's lightly used for slightly over a month. Has all original packaging, manuals, extra touchpad buttons etc. I am very anal about my Thinkpad condition so there are no scratches or marks or anything.
What would be a fair market price for a quick sale?
Thanks!
what's my T43 worth?

Depending on exact specs and accessories, you should be looking at $550-700. I'm guessing towards the lower end, since its XGA, which kills the value. If you can wait a week or so, I will offer you $575 for it.

It's a low end T43 (basically, not too different than an original T40, I mean no fingerprint reader!), but it does have a long warranty - which is worth about $100 by itself.
I'd say it's worth $700+.
Why not just pop in a faster CPU and hard drive? T43's are nice.
(I revised my estimate upwards because of the 1.86GHz Pentium M CPU.)
