System crash when trying to Access the recovery area

Hmmm. I am not sure how I did this but I can not access the recovroy area by pressing the Blue ACCESS IBM button. When I press the button during boot up I get the fallowing error:

STOP: C00003a {Fatal System Error}
The session manager initialization system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc000003a (0x00000000 0x00000000).
The system has meen shut down.

Any ideas on what I have done or how I can fix this. I have verry little data on my TP but do not relish the idea of having to reinstall all my programs again.

PS. Could Roxio Go Back have anything to do with this?
