T41 Memory Upgrade Question

Hi, in my T41 I have a 1gb ram pc2100 card and a 256mb pc2700 card.

I'm looking to add extra ram to an R40 which I have and was wondering if I would get any noticable performance improvement with the T41 if I move the 1gb pc2100 card to the R40 and bought a 1gb pc2700 card for the T41?

I doubt you'll notice, but this would work and supposedly improves performance on the T41.

Since PC2100 & PC2700 memory is about the same price (sometimes PC2700 is less), why not do it?
