That looks like a GREAT form factor -- i'm tall & always hunched over my laptop. Serious de-evolution going on here.

It was a ThinkPad prototype, but IBM dropped the idea or left it in a drawer for a few years.

Dropped it? Man they should have run with it! Looks like a great machine... these days i always lug around this heavy piece of metal that allows me to stand the laptop upright... kind of an easle for the laptop -- so that I don't become a hunchback.

That was the A40 prototype and believe it or not, the one on the left is the same as one on the right. It was supposed to be a "portable desktop", ie a laptop that folded out to become a proper desktop replacement. Unfortunately they never got round to produce it.

what they ibm needs to do is come out with their tablet already [censored]!!! and yeah the ibm/lg XNote LT-20 is out in Korea, but [censored] i want one here in the US.

Although it looks cool, it looks as though it would be extremely flimsy.
