T41 - 1920 x 1200 on DVI with omega drivers?

I have a T41 2379-DJU with ATI Radeon 9000.
I've seen the posts on displaying 1600x1200 on DVI with miniDock (with omega drivers), but I'm wondering if anyone has gotten 1920x1200 (again with omega drivers) on DVI. I'm looking at possibly getting a Samsung 244T.

I have a T41 with ATI Radeon 9000 driving a Dell 24" monitor through the VGA port at 1920X1200, no problems. The Dell also has a DVI port that I hooked up a Mac to. This monitor goes on sale often and the latest prices were less than 700.

Does the internal laptop display still work at 1400x1050?

E.g. in "extended desktop" mode?

(shux - I just sprung for a 1600x1200 panel -- probably should have gone wide, but thought the T42 only supported 1600x1200. Didnt know about the omega drivers. My mini-dock (for dvi-out) is on its way.)
