Can't figure out how to open Ultrabay.

I just got a T43, and I wanted to take out the optical drive, just for fun but I can't move the little release button, that ejects the pullout "pen"

I saw the movie on IBM's site.

SO, is there something wrong with release thingy, or is there another lock on it?

If you followed the movie exactly, you should be able to pull the optical drive out easily.

Watch the movie again, and pay attention to the direction of using force.

Make sure the security screw is not locking the button: look under your TP, next to the button : if you see a screw, unscrew it, and you'll be able to use the button
