Just ordered a new Thinkpad

At last after days of deliberation I bought myself a T42 2374 3XU with 3 years warranty and 3 years active protection all for $1740. Now is that a good deal or what? And the good news is the IBM representative expedited the shipping time to 1 week. Which means that I will have it in my hand same time next week. Yippeee!!!!!!!! :):)

Yep, had an old Dell Latitude CPXJ650, which wasnt much fun let me tell you . Anyway I feel like I belong to a club or something, reading these posts.

Good choice. I personally think the T40 series are the best laptops we've ever produced and it's good to see a return of the 15" panels with some of the T42 models
