T42 LCD and Cover Replacement - I did it!

About a month ago I asked for help on how to replace the smashed LCD and cover on my T42 that was damaged in the earthquake. I received some wonderful, detailed responses on what to do.

I ended up replacing the LCD, the hinges and the cover and saved about $500!

And, most amazingly, everything worked the first time around! Wonder why I could never get all those toasters I took apart over the years to work? Must be more complicated than the laptop?
