hmm... odd. Did you try running the UltraNav wizard? Try that, if not successful download new UltraNav drivers, install, and then try it.

That's odd. I also fresh installed SP2. The middle button of my microsoft USB mouse works out of the box when no Synaptics or IBM UltraNav driver is installed.

Are you using Synaptics or IBM UltraNav drivers?

OMFG

ok
so a fresh install of sp2.. and it STILL didnt work

i took out the KB to make sure s connection wasnt loose or anything

so then i switcht the hard drivers between the 2 - and the computer still didnt work (running on my HDD that it DID work on ) ruling out that it was a windows problem

so finall i check the BIOS and i see that the computer withthe middle button not working on has the touchpad enabled, while the one the button works on has the touchpad disbled..

so i disable and reboot

AND GUESS what

it works now..

ay POS IBM

i [censored] wiped hours of customiztion and installations to find it was IBM stupid BIOS problem

NOW

how can i get the touchpad AND trachpoint middle button to work at the same tim enow?

Me too.

BIOS 3.06f
UltraNav driver 7.5.17.10
UltraNav Wizard - not installed
TrackPoint and UltraNav Accessibility Features - not installed

I can scroll with the middle UltraNav button. Trackpoint, touchpad and external USB mouse are all functional.
