Buying a T42 from newegg.com question

#1 Post by Evidence. » Wed Sep 01, 2004 7:25 pm

If I do will i still have the warranty? Newegg says "This item is warranted through the product manufacturer only. "

Does that mean IBM will still warranty it for 3(??) years? Also its Model #2378DUU

Here is the link. Any info, reccomendations, etc welcome

The machine would be covered through IBM
But it says it's only a 1 year warranty not 3yrs

It's also the same price direct through IBM so I would just order from IBM

They even say it's IN STOCK

I am so used to just the forums here.

Sorry Bill.

I think newegg.com has a 15% restocking fee. You might want to give that a thought before purchasing a big ticket item.
