Hi there,
A message popped up the other day to the effect the 'Did I want the computer to go into automatic Standby.' I did not want that so I clicked 'No.'
The result is that I have lost Hibernation and the Standby option on the shutdown menu.
I have downloaded a new hibernation file from IBM, installed it. Hibernation is enabled in BIOS. The file exists in C:, but the computer will not hibernate (Fn+F12)
Under Control Panel/Power Management/ Hibernation tab, only Disable Hibernation is available. But it already appears to be disabled.
Can anyone offer some advice on how to get Hibernation back? Gee, do I miss it!
Thanks in advance,
Rex
