T41 Screen help!!

Good afternoon all,

I have a T41 lappie and the screen has cracked, (non warranty job) go figure!!

Can the screen be replaced with a T40 screen as i can pick one of them up dirt cheap. Or what are my options? I am based ion the UK (across the pond)

grab the HMM for each and compare part numbers..
while they might not be the same they might be close enough to fit one to the other..

go to the support page for each thinkpad model (yours and the prospective display replacement one) and do the reading to learn..
