NIC port doesn't work after T21 sys. board replacement

#1 Post by jblackbu01 » Fri Sep 03, 2004 9:40 am

Hello All, I'm a first time poster to thinkpads.com. This forum site looks an excellent wealth of thinkpad info.

Anyways, I replaced my T21 sys board last nite, and all went except for the NIC port, it doesn't light up or connect. The modem port still works. The windows nic driver loads fine, but no workie. Any ideas?
thx

Are you sure you've put everything together like it was? Make sure you haven't twisted or pinched the cable to the ethernet port that is connected to the Mini PCI-combo card.
