How to get those funcky softwares installed on my new HD? I don't have a recovery CD. Is there a way for me to create a CD from the hidden section?

You could ghost your hard drive onto the new one but it sounds like this might be a little tricky for you.

You could try calling IBM and pleading with them to give you a free set (or you could just pay $35 - cheaper than an OEM XP disk).

The software application files are mostly in the IBMTOOLS folder.
