ThinkPAD shut down problem

After I upgraded my T42 from HomeEdition to XP Profession + SP2,
My computer just can not shut down. It goes to last step, and stopped there.

??? A T42 with XP Home ??? Well, anyway, XP Pro works fine. Sounds like a software package not closing properly and stopping the OS shutting down.

If you have IBM Access Connections 3.20 -- upgrade it to a newer version.

This would be my guess too. The upgrade will fix it.
