What are 'Express' Models?

#1 Post by doppelfish » Thu Dec 21, 2006 6:45 am

Hi, all,

the 2687-D5U (see here for details) is called a T43 Express Model. I've known about the 'p'-Models (ie, T43 vs. T43p), but i'm dithering about what the Express designation is all about. According to the specs, the T43 Express beats the T43p. Any knowledgeable folks[1] out there?

cheers,

Express basically means that they have prebuilt a number of machines with that specific configuration for fast delivery. If your configuration is not prebuilt, then it will take some time for Lenovo to build one for you. Generally Express models carry a lower price tag.

This not only answers my question, but it also illustrates what I consider an Express Answer[TM].
Thank You. Cheers,
