Hi,
I have accidentally bumped into the power cord with my foot, which caused the laptop to turn 90 degrees, and then to disengage. The laptop was fine, but when I have inserted the cord back to the laptop it didn't click, it was loose. I eventually fixed it by taking a pin (like a needle but with a round head) and curved its tip 90 degrees by holding it in a fire with two pliers and twisting it. I then inserted it in to the power interface so the curved tip would get behind the metal on the side, and then I have rotated it with the plier 90 degrees, so the curved tip would get behind the metal, and pooled it out. That is it. It was fixed. That pool got that metal back in place.
PS. I switched the laptop off, and removed the battery before I started to fiddle with the power interface.
