I bought my (wife's) T43 last week from an Ebay seller. NIB. It was overstock or company return and sold with no implicit warranty. I went to the Lenovo site and auto-detected the machine, and it shows it to be on warranty through July 2009 (based on a 7/06 shipping date) Most of the other T43's I'm seeing being sold as new come with 6 mo. - 1 yr. warranties. My son's Z61m has a 3-year, but it cost extra.
Am I just lucky, or do all the T43's have a 3 year warranty?
Is my warranty for real?

Re: Is my warranty for real?
If it was sold with no warranty then be wary. The IBM/Levono web site has sometimes been a bit slow in updating for warranty status changes (which mostly occur for items sold on the sort of basis you describe), so you may find that the warranty status changes before too long.DennisGordon wrote:It was overstock or company return and sold with no implicit warranty.
