What a newb

#1 Post by Antioch » Tue Sep 07, 2004 10:52 pm

Sorry to be such a little kid - I tried holding it in for a while.

My new T42 came today. I can't hold my elation in any more. It's such a great machine!

I was lucky - 0 bad pixels - Thai keyboard
Unluck - Sanyo battery, jiggles...

Still, Im loving it.

I wonder if theres a "battery mod" someone's done to reduce the shaking of the battery? Some sort of padding or what not. That rattling is rather unsettling. ;)

PLEASE don't misunderstand me, but am I correct in thinking someone asked for a photo of a piece of paper?

Tell you what, I'll send you a photo of a tree - you can even make cardboard from that...

No, those were what I wanted to see.

I didn't ask for a picture of a piece of paper, but more so to see how he situated it on the body of the battery - because I had many different ideas on how to tackle it, but wanted to see the way he said works...

Sorry you had to view it as such.

PS - Thanks Michael =)

Fortunately, Nonny was at home attached via her beloved cable modem when she viewed the images that came with no warning in the subject and not somewhere else attached via her 14.4 cell phone... <g>
