T43 finger print reader defect?

#1 Post by alexs4327 » Tue Jan 02, 2007 12:38 am

Hi,

I've acquired another T43 here, and have noticed something different with the finger print reader, when compared to my other T43 and a T60. Here's a picture below:

As you can see, there seem to be some concentric circles on the finger print reader. I haven't been able to try it out yet, so I was wondering if it should be anything I should worry about, and whether or not it'll affect usage of the finger print reader.

Thanks!

I will as soon as I get back in town and have access to the machine next week. :)

I was just curious if anybody had seen that before.

Haven't seen that before without there being some sort of liquid or chromatic film over it causing that. If it works, I wouldn't worry much. :)

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.
