Right palm rest flexing on the corner neear LEFT arrow key!?

#1 Post by Oxleyrd » Thu Sep 09, 2004 12:56 am

Recently, I found out I can easily push down the corner part (near the LEFT arrow key) of the right palm rest. See this:

An interesting finding is: after I push that corner down, the keyboard will firmly attach to machine, so the lower right hand side flexing for the keyborad is no longer be the problem (my keyboard is a made in china one)

Can anybody comment on this? Does your t42 also have the same problem?

yea, its a fairly common problem. people recomend putting business cards or other pieces of paper under there, some say you can stretch up a little peg on the keyboard itself. or you can try to get a thai keyboard. dunno what else to say, hopefully that answers enough
