Cannot enter BIOS on T40

I have a T40 2379-D6U. It is working normally - no problems booting or running. However, when I try to access the BIOS, I press the Access IBM button on boot, and when the BIOS would normally show up, I just get a blank screen and two short beeps. Any ideas why or how to fix this?

Do you get the F1-F12 option during boot?

From the Hardware Maintenance Manual this is where the problem lies. The DIMM is the RAM memory.:

Two short beeps and a blank screen.
1. System board.
2. DIMM.
