Booq PowerSleeve 14 -- Initial Thoughts

#1 Post by rideDPU » Thu Sep 09, 2004 11:48 pm

Just recieved my Booq PowerSleeve 14 this afternoon. The build quality seems very high -- higher than the Marware I tried (unsucessfully -- too small) before. My 15" T42 fits nice and snug: no worries of it smacking around inside the bag. The outside flap pocket is large enough to stick the power adapter in and there is a document pocket on the back side. The padding is on the firmer side. The bag as a whole is not very bulky -- just like a sleeve should be. It is a little thicker than a neoprene, but at the benefit of a little extra protection (nice to have while hauling to class etc.)
After I have used it for a little while I will give and update and try to pictures up.

Thanks, I've been interested in that sleeve. After dinging the corner of my ThinkPad, I've decided neoprene sleeves blow.

I am looking into the same sleeve for my 14" ThinkPad. Do you think it will be snug as well? I don't want it to shift around too much.

Also do you think the sleeve is too large to put in a regular backpack like a Jansport. If I can I just want to buy the sleeve, but be able to carry it in my old backpack I still have.

If you could go into a more detailed review that would be greeeatt

My 14 inch fits well inside of it. It's not too big to put in a standard backpack either. I do it with mine. Overall it's a great case so far. I like it.

Just received the sleeve and it fits the 15" TP perfectly snug in height, depth, and thickness with a 6 cell.
