Memtest question (mem addressing)

My T43 has 512mb RAM from factory + 1gb upgrade.

Memtest86 shows a problem spot at 1265mb. Is it safe to say that the bad stick is 1gb upgrade?

Not sure how memtest86/memtest86+ determines the addressing given two modules. You probably have to re-test each module individually in order to determine which is bad. At least that's what I would do.
