ultrabay slim hard drive

#1 Post by jarbill » Sat Jan 13, 2007 12:51 pm

Does anyone know if the ultrabay slim secondary hard drive adapters are still available? I can't seem to find any, although I have found a couple of non-IBM hdd adapters that say they will work.

Thanks in advance.

You can find them on Ebay. Do a search and you can find both styles.

Thanks for the link. I looked for it under my t43 model accessories and couldn't find it on Lenovo's website.

Be careful though - I bought an Ultrabay Slim 2nd hdd adapter and it's now stuck in the machine. Will probably be on it's way to Lenovo service next week. I'm not saying not to buy it, but I'm not sure what's keeping the bugger stuck in there - the DVD always came out no problem.

They tend to be a bit more "stiff" when they get in there, more so than the Ultrabay optical drives. :)

Although it should not get stuck in there.
