T43 - How to use two monitors for extended desktop?

#1 Post by arctanx » Thu Jan 18, 2007 9:39 am

I'm a former Dell user, now I have a T43. When docked I want to use two monitors for my extended desktop, but I can't. I seem to only be able to use one monitor and the laptop as the secondary.

I guess in the Intel GMA properties, I choose extended desktop, and don't get the choice for two monitors, which bites because I have two big ThinkVision monitors I really want to use.

Does anyone know anything about this? I'm kind of a hardward newb, so I may have some questions if it has to do with chipsets, graphics card, etc...

thanks

Nobody has had this problem? I can't find any info using Google.

My friend was saying I could buy some kind of converter for the docking station, so the digital cable would get converted to analog, so instead of the analog and dvi, it would be two anaolg connections.

Any ideas?
