My T43 appears have suffered a total HD drive failure. Symptoms: no drive light, clicking of HD about a second a part, boot-up reports "no operating system detected" and T43 Recovery CD does report a hard drive.
Question: While I wait for a replacement drive, can I swap my hard drive from my older X20 into the T43 and have it boot the T43? Do I risk anything with such a swap...will it even work?

Re: Emergency Hard Drive Swap
IMO, the "driver gap" between an X20 and a T43 would make a successful completion of a boot highly unlikely.hkelley wrote:can I swap my hard drive from my older X20 into the T43 and have it boot the T43?
