New power mgmt drivers?

On the Lenovo download support site there is a new power mgmt driver available, however, there are two .exe files linked to with no instructions as to which one is appropriate to use.

Moreover, the instructions say software installer provides installation support but running software installer doesn't pick up the update. But it is seems fairly obvious from reading the notes that it is appropriate for a t42p to install this update. But which file to install?

The 08 version would be newer than the 06 version. Additionally, the .txt file is also 08. My vote would be to go with the 7jku08ww.exe 1,361,840 ThinkPad Power Management driver.

You can download the above driver. Double-click on it to extract it's files, then launch Software Installer, choose Install or upgrade driver(s) or software, click Next >, then uncheck box to Retrieve latest information on the internet, then Next >.
