Power manager blew up my dock II

#1 Post by jjames55 » Thu Jan 25, 2007 8:26 am

Hi all,

I Installed the new(?) power manager driver on my t42p (wanted to try it out instead of the battery maximizer)...

After install, all was good - there was this button that let you exersize the battery (charge/discharge/charge) - nice, my battery might like that. On top of it starting to charge, it resulted in: *puf* my attached dock II just died!!! it is now completely dead.

Will have to take it apart later to se if there are any fuses etc in the PSU, but i'm not to optimistic... but hey one more reason to upgrade to a T60...

:-(
