I have had an external monitor (IBM L170p, 17" flat panel) running fine with my T42p for a few years now. I just recently did an upgrade of the BIOS and Lenovo drivers on my machine as well as a HDD upgrade from the original 80 GB to a new 100GB 7200 RPM drive.
Now my external monitor does not work... the cable is detected by the monitor and the screen goes black but no matter what I do, I can't get a picture. I have all of the latest drivers from Lenovo.
Anybody else seeing this?
