Burned recovery disks specific to machine?

I burned the recovery disks for my T43P. A friend just bought a T43 without a hard drive, but it does have a Windows license. Can he use my discs to reinstall his machine? Does the burned CD set have my serial/license key burned into it (in which case I wouldn't do it)?

They will work fine. If there is a major difference in models you might have to go get a driver or two.
They use an OEM license number not the one on the bottom of the computer.
