CCFL bulbs for T4x

#1 Post by The Spirit of X21 » Mon Feb 05, 2007 6:20 pm

Does anyone know if the CCFL bulb from a T22 is compatible with the display of a T40?

Check the dimension, length and the size of the bulb. There is no difference in the bulb other than those few which i have mentioned.

I have read through a forum member's post regarding using scanner CCFL bulb for his thinkpad.

Go to moniserv website and look for the CCFL bulb. Open your thinkpad and get the correct measurement and remember to order the bulb which is less than a few mm (length) or else if it is longer, it may not be able to fit into the LCD.

HTH :-)

Thanks for the link!

Looks like I'll need to start practicing my soldering skills. . .
