Mouse-Scrolling not working within terminal client

Hello!
It works fine when not in terminal client session (XP remote desktop). Any idea why?

Mouse scrolling with the TrackPoint at least, does not work when set to Standard with all programs. Try setting the scrolling for the TrackPoint to Smooth, Auto-Select, or Neither. The scrolling behavior is different than with Standard, but it works. Use the UltraNav Wizard or Mouse Properties in Control Panel or ThinkPad Configuration to change the setting.
