Will lenovo provide VISTA drivers and software for T40 through ThinkVantage System Update 3.0??I am currently running VISTA and I get the following message when scanning for updates ..

Results from session:
No packages applicable to your system were found.


I have had to manually download all the drivers for XP and use them in VISTA.

I also found this in the read me...


ThinkVantage System Update is supported on the following systems:

- ThinkPad G41, G50
- ThinkPad R50, R50e, R50p, R51, R51e, R52, R60, R60e
- ThinkPad T43, T43p, T60, T60p

Based on the following, It does not appear that Lenovo will support Vista on the T40. You could try the Vista drivers for the T41, but the results may be unsatisfactory.

Lenovo does provide Vista support for the T42, but likely will not replace all the drivers and software that are available in XP. You can see what is currently available on a T42 for Vista on the following page.

Also, the Vista Hotkey Features driver is not listed for the T42, but I have been using it on mine. It is listed as necessary for Access Connections, the Keyboard Customizer utility, and perhaps some other ThinkVantage software.
