Is t43p too hot?

#1 Post by delubo » Sat Feb 24, 2007 5:50 pm

I am going to buy a t42p or t43p. I saw some where it was said the t43p is quite hot and noisy. So I think if there is warranty available, I'd better to choose t42p. Is that correct?

All things equal, I'd get a T42p. The T43p have an option of slightly faster processors, and the video card is a bit better, but they have a higher tendency to get hotter and noisier, as you mentioned.

I second the suggestion to go for T42p, which works well with all 2.5" PATA hard drives without bios error message.

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. There is a Brand new t42p on ebay which can ship to UK. But I am waiting for a lower price offer.
