My school sells T42's for the same discount that I can get them through IBM's website. However, when I called my bookstore they said that I can return the computer to them within 10 days only if the box is unopened. WTF! So, if I buy it through them, and I get dead pixels or decide that I want a different model, will IBM handle this, regardless of the fact that I didn't buy the computer directly from them? Do I need to just buy the thing through IBM.com?
