Do we need both Power Manger and ACPI power manager?

There are two power mananger drivers on the Lenovo driver download page for the T43P.

One is ACPI at version 1.41
The other is 1.14

Do we need both or just one?

You need both. In a nutshell: ACPI controls sleep states and processor states as well as other things. Power Manager is for managing the battery charging features.
