WUXGA resolution question

#1 Post by rocketman » Sat Sep 25, 2004 11:02 am

Is there any way to make fonts easier to read with a Thinkpad that has the WUXGA 1600x1200 resolution? I know that LCD's have a native resolution and it's degraded if you use any resolution other than its native one.

It's UXGA, not WUXGA. The 15" UXGA 1600x1200 LCD looks great at 1024x768, nearly indistinguishable from a native XGA 1024x768 LCD.

Yes, use CLEAR TYPE.... feature of XP and you can also change the DPI from 96 to a higher value under screen properties... but you can also sit closer :) and enjoy the 1600x1200 :)
